On problems of education philosophy in the heritage of I.V.Kireevsky

The paper presents the views of I.V.Kireevsky on the problem of education as a process of actualization of historical traditions of the Russian society. The author shows the significance of the works of the thinkers who continued the philosophical traditions of Enlightenment in Russia for the formation of the education philosophy. The conclusion has been made that Kireevsky' views on education can be considered as a philosophical problem of national and cultural identity and by this reason his views are different from the social, reformation and pedagogical concepts of that time.

The philosophical problems of upbringing and education in the projects of society perfection in the Decembrists' heritage

The paper considers the Decembrists' views on the problem of education. The author has pointed out that the theme of intellectual rights, cognitive interests and person's needs in the Decembrists' interpretation was independent among the ideas of social and political reforms. Statement of the Decembrists' views has reflected their opinions on the questions of person's freedom and the rights of an educated person, the civil initiative and responsibility.
